Tennessee Invasive Pest & Landscape Innovation Workshop

Several damaging invasive insects and diseases of forest and landscape trees are currently established in, or encroaching on, Tennessee. Meanwhile, labor shortages and public pressure are making it difficult for landscape maintenance and tree care companies to keep-up with the high standards they hold themselves to.

This workshop will cover:

  • The status of current tree damaging invasive insects established in Tennessee, introduce attendees to tree damaging pests that are expected to turn up in the state, and offer practical protocols for managing these issues for trees in the landscape.
  • How landscape maintenance companies, property managers & arborists can utilize plant growth regulators to maximize their labor resource while keeping properties looking great and improving plant health.
  • Strategies for converting to battery operated equipment.
