Xytect 2F is a broad spectrum, easy to use, highly concentrated systemic insecticide that utilizes the proven performance of imidacloprid. It provides 12 months of protection and controls a wide variety of insect pests including leafminers, lerp psylid, soft scales, hemlock wooly adelgid, and boring insects like bronze birch borer, Emerald ash borer, and Asian longhorn beetle.

This is a neonicotinoid pesticide. Per state law, this product is:

  • Prohibited from sale in NJ and VT.
  • Restricted to licensed applicators in CA, CO, CT, DE, MA, MD, NY, PA, and RI.
  • A pesticide applicator's license must be on file before shipping to CT, DE, MA, ME, NV, PA, RI, and WA.
  • NV (Restricted use pesticide - not allowed as a foliar spray)
