WHEN SHOULD GEOGREEN BE APPLIED?
GeoGreen can be applied anytime during the year, except when soils are frozen or saturated. The ideal time for application is in the early spring, April/May and again in the late fall. Summer applications can be made as long as there is sufficient soil moisture.
HOW IS GEOGREEN APPLIED?
A 30lb bag of GeoGreen is mixed with 200 gallons of water (15lbs in 100g) in a hydraulic sprayer using a fertilizer probe with 4 ports at the tip at 150-200 PSI. The solution injected into the tree’s root zone on a 2.5’ x 2.5’ grid pattern 4-8” deep at the rate of ½ gallon of solution per site.
HOW MUCH GEOGREEN DO I NEED?
One 30lb bag of GeoGreen fertilizer is mixed into 200 gallons of solution. 200 gallons of solution will cover roughly 2,670 sq ft or about 40” DBH.
