Emily Shafer is the Northeastern Territory Manager at Rainbow Ecoscience, leveraging her extensive background in environmental science and urban ecology to support clients across the region. Beginning her career as a wildland firefighter, Emily was inspired by the critical role of arborists in managing tree hazards and quickly earned her Faller II certification. She then joined Lucas Tree Experts as an arborist trainee, steadily advancing to become a consulting arborist for Eversource and later a project manager for Arbormetrics, overseeing complex utility right-of-way projects from start to finish. Emily holds several professional credentials, including ISA Certification (NE-7544A), ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ), Connecticut Arborist License, Supervisory Pesticide License, and a CDL Class A. Passionate about the outdoors, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking with her chocolate lab Axle, fishing, and exploring new places with her fiancé. Emily is excited to bring her diverse expertise and enthusiasm for client education and innovative solutions to Rainbow Ecoscience.
