With Field Identification Walk and Management Demonstration
During this classroom and in the field workshop you will learn the key factors to understand invasive shothole borer (ISHB). Partnering with the City of San Jose, where the initial infestation was identified in Northern California, you will have the opportunity to see trees in various stages of the insect’s infestation. In addition, you will see multiple management tools to improve tree health and direct management of the invasive shothole borer.
